Debbie Brock began Brocken Glass after retiring from teaching chemistry for 32 years. As a chemistry teacher she was always fascinated by the colors of minerals, gemstones, and glass which all had similar chemical compositions but the various colors were created by tiny amounts of metal compounds. Thus began her passion with stained glass art! Clean lines and bright colors draw my attention, so quilt patterns are a passion! But nature-inspired patterns are just as interesting!
